About us

Our story begins with a shared passion for exploring the world and a desire to craft a lifestyle combining work, travel, and adventure.

Mark and Bec Wyld are just ordinary people from a small town in Australia who love travelling. After racking our brains trying to figure out how we could make this happen more often and more affordable, we set out to start blogging to create a travel blog, being able to leverage free entries and accommodation. We hoped this would allow us to see and do more with our kids and not break the bank.

We started with no experience or knowledge in blogging or content creation. We dived in head-first and created Wyld Family Travel in 2016. Since then, it has been a steep and sometimes rocky road, with many wins and losses along the way to where we are today.

This has become a vehicle for us to step into the world of being a digital nomad not too far into the future. We aim to live and work in different places worldwide, all we need is a computer and internet access.

We are just everyday people like yourselves who dreamed a big dream after deciding that our best lives are lived while travelling.
