We want to eat at small hole in the wall places in Asia

We want to drink coffee on the cobblestone streets of Europe’s old towns.

About our travels

Travel has been the spark that ignites our passion for life together. The travel bug has bitten us since we travelled together, and our adventures have only grown more thrilling over the years. Who could forget our first trip together to Europe in 2003? Since then, we’ve been hooked, exploring new destinations and creating unforgettable memories as a couple and as a family.

We took our little one on her first European adventure at just 10 months old, and over the past 20-plus years, travel has been the highlight of our lives together—a constant reminder of the joy and excitement that comes with discovering new cultures, meeting new people, and making memories that last a lifetime.

Where our travels have taken us

We’ve been on a wild adventure, travelling to 45 countries across Europe, Asia, and Oceania and racking up over 100 flights with 25 airlines. But it wasn’t until we made the bold decision to leave our jobs and take our kids out of school in 2019 that our travels took off. COVID-19 brought us back to Australia, but we’re itching to get back out there and explore more of the world. From the romantic streets of France and Germany to the vibrant markets of Vietnam and the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, we’ve had our fair share of unforgettable experiences.

We’ve slept in castles in Poland, taken surfing lessons in Bali, and marvelled at the ancient wonders of China. And let’s not forget the quirky highlights, like the Bone Churches of Portugal and the surreal landscapes of Kazakhstan. We’re grateful for the opportunity to have seen so much of the world, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
